Medvedev congratulated workers and veterans of the construction industry

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev congratulated workers and veterans of the construction industry with their professional holiday — Builder’s Day. “Your hands are entire cities and towns, infrastructure and industries. Thanks to you, in the new residential areas appear kindergartens and schools, clinics and playgrounds, roads and engineering networks”, — said in a congratulatory telegram on the government website.

The Prime Minister noted that the construction sector plays a special role in the development of the country.

Earlier this week, President Vladimir Putin also congratulated on the professional holiday of workers and veterans of the construction industry, noting that currently, the domestic industry employs high-class specialists, related by a common cause and strong traditions.

In addition, the President noted that the profession of Builder is one of the most honorable and creative on the planet, said in a telegram to the Kremlin website.

“Before the Russian builders are new, demand-driven tasks, the main of which — high-quality modernization of the building complex, wide implementation of advanced technologies and engineering solutions, improvement of professional education”, — the President added.

Builder’s day is celebrated on the second Sunday of August.
