Earlier it was reported about 5 killed and 88 injured.
It is reported that in 17 localities of the province and in the tourist area seven people were killed and 88 were injured, 21 of them were seriously injured.
An earthquake of magnitude 6.5 occurred in 21.19 (16.19 GMT) in Jiuzhaigou, Ngawa-Tibetan-Camscom Autonomous district of Sichuan province. The Chinese seismological center said the magnitude was 7. After that there were more than 100 aftershocks. In rescue operations involved 536 people and 46 pieces of large equipment.
