In the Ministry of foreign Affairs of Abkhazia called “nervous” reaction of Georgia on the visit of Putin
The Ministry noted that the visit of the Russian President was “exclusively peaceful and creative nature.”
SUKHUM, August 9. /TASS/. Abkhazian foreign Minister called the reaction of the members of the top Georgian leadership on the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Abkhazia on 8 August quite nervous. This is stated in the comments of the Ministry, circulated in the media.
“The foreign Ministry of Abkhazia drew attention to the rather nervous reaction of the Georgian representatives of the higher leadership on the occasion of the visit of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin to the Republic of Abkhazia. Despite numerous populist statements of Georgian politicians and their Western backers in the United States, the EU, NATO and other structures that predictably condemned Vladimir Putin’s visit to Abkhazia, I would like to assure all stakeholders that the visit was successful, at a high international level, and Abkhazian-Russian strategic cooperation continues to develop dynamically”, — emphasized in the comments.
