The Berlin police arrested in the city centre, two Chinese tourists, who performed the Nazi salute outside the building of the German Parliament. On Saturday, August 5, according to Reuters.
As noted, men aged 36 and 49 years posed at the Reichstag of Nazi gestures and taking pictures of each other on mobile phones.
Tourists from China were accused of “use of symbols of banned organizations”. They were released after payment of bail of 500 Euro for each.
Section 86a of the German Criminal code prohibits the use in Germany of Nazi symbols, including flags and coats of arms of the Third Reich and forms of greetings, the national socialist regime that existed in Germany in the years 1933-1945.
