Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev held a meeting on shipbuilding plant “Sea” in Feodosia.
He stated that the industry of the Crimea, practically destroyed in the post-Soviet period, began to revive.
For example, 14 DIC enterprises giddy in excess of 13 billion rubles; the company has already signed contracts worth more than 12 billion.
The volume of orders leading to the civil enterprises of the Peninsula in the first half of the year also exceeded 13 billion, nearly one and a half times more than in 2013.
Positive trends are observed in the chemical industry and mechanical engineering.
At the same time, according to Medvedev, the problems remain in terms of deterioration of the material-technical base and insufficient capacity utilization. This is especially true of shipbuilding enterprises, despite the high request.
Previously, experts noted that the accession of Crimea to Russia, the shipbuilding industry of the Peninsula were revived.
