MOSCOW, August 2. /TASS/. Deputy Chairman of the Central election Commission (CEC) of the Russian Federation Nikolai Bulaev reported that the cost of CCTV in the upcoming 2018 presidential election in Russia will amount to 2.7 billion rubles.
“We are confident that the proposals contained in the Ministry of communications, are stacked in the figure to 3 billion roubles, to be precise, 2.7 billion roubles. We believe this allows us to solve the tasks we set ourselves when the video surveillance on the election of the President of the Russian Federation”, — said Deputy head of the Committee.
He recalled that the CEC suggested “to consider a scenario in which surveillance will be organized in the districts where the vote will be 85% of the population of the Russian Federation”.
