Rospotrebnadzor recommends to wash watermelons with soap and water
The Ministry recalled that the sale of watermelons and melons on the stalls along the roads is prohibited. The products in these outlets does not pass the necessary sanitary examination.
MOSCOW, August 1. /TASS/. The Federal service for supervision of consumer rights protection and human welfare in connection with the beginning of the season bocenago reminded the Russians about the rules of selection and consumption of watermelon: before buying you need to check the availability of the certificate, and home to wash berries with soap. This is stated in the message service received by TASS.
“At an authorized place of sale of melons there must be a complete package of accompanying documents confirming the quality and safety of melons (certificate or Declaration of conformity, certificates of quality, issued by the organization who raised watermelons); the seller must be in the workplace, personal medical book, information about the legal entity that implements watermelons, and a sign indicating working time, scales”, — stated in the message.
In Rospotrebnadzor recalled that the sale of watermelons and melons on the stalls along the roads is prohibited.
The products in these outlets does not pass the necessary sanitary examination, the watermelon can absorb heavy metals contained in exhaust gases of vehicles.
