The US President Donald trump said that “very disappointed” by the omission of China in dealing with the problem of North Korea. He wrote about this in his Twitter.
“I’m very disappointed in China. Our previous foolish leaders allowed the Beijing annually earn hundreds of billions of dollars in trade, and while China did nothing for us in the issue with North Korea, just talk. We won’t let this continue. China can easily solve this problem!”, said trump.
On July 29, the DPRK confirmed the launch of a ballistic missile “And 14”. The North Korean Agency KCNA reported that the test did not pose a threat to neighboring countries, however, is “a stern warning for the United States.”
July 4, Russia and China issued a joint initiative of proposing to the DPRK to declare a moratorium on nuclear tests and missile launches, and South Korea and the United States to refrain from conducting large-scale military exercises. The US ignored this offer, July 8, trump promised to “somehow” solve the situation with the nuclear and missile programs of Pyongyang.
Later, the DPRK stated that it is not going to discuss its nuclear and missile programs as long as the US “will not stop its hostile policy.”
On June 20, the state Department said that the United States reserves the right to impose sanctions against Chinese citizens and Chinese companies that allegedly assisted North Korea in nuclear development.
