The Pakistani Prime Minister was removed from power because of the scandal with “Panama records”

The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif, the country’s Supreme court ousted the results of the investigation of the scandal with “Panama records”. On Friday, July 28, reports Gulf News.

The court also registered a case of corruption against not only Sharif, but also against members of his family. Among them the daughter of the head of the government of Maryam Sharif, and his two sons.

In April, the Supreme court of Pakistan refused to dismiss the Sharif from the post of Prime Minister. However, local opposition was expressed for his immediate resignation.

In proceedings of the International consortium of investigative journalism, published on 3 April last year, claimed that more than 200 Pakistani citizens owned offshore companies. Among them two sons of the Prime Minister (Hussein and Hassan) and his daughter Maryam, and the families of the two wives of his brother Shahbaz Sharif, brother of Nawaz Sharif and chief Minister of Punjab province.
