Ministry of defense of Russia revives the tradition of parades on the Day of the Navy (Navy). As noted in the Department, it is one of the most important military rituals, which in itself is a source of pride for their country, the spectacle of vivid and unforgettable.

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree ordered “to commemorate the glorious victories of the Navy, made a significant contribution to the defense of the Fatherland” to hold the main naval parade in St. Petersburg. At a press conference on July 27, after talks in Finland, Putin invited foreign partners from the countries of the Baltic region to take part in this parade. “I assure you, it is not saber rattling. This restoration of tradition, which for over 100 years,” he said.
