Russia’s permanent representative to the UN has measured the depth of relations between Moscow and Washington

Relations between Russia and the United States are at the bottom. This was stated by Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzia, reports on Friday, July 28, RIA Novosti.

According to him, Moscow was forced to respond to anti-Russian U.S. sanctions. He called the new restrictive measures, Washington’s unjustified, illegal and unprecedented. But, the diplomat said, Russia and the United States can not do without each other.

Nebenzia also noted that Russia’s cooperation with other members of the UN Security Council will continue.

Earlier on Friday, Russia banned U.S. Embassy to use a dacha in Serebryany Bor, as well as warehouses on Road street in the capital. Thus Moscow has responded to the tightening of us sanctions.

In addition, the Russian side demanded before September 1 to reduce the total number of personnel in U.S. diplomatic missions in the country, to 455. This figure corresponds to the number of Russian diplomats and employees of technical personnel in the United States.

Vassily Nebenzia began his duties in the UN and the UN security Council on July 28. Prior to this he held the position of Deputy Minister of foreign Affairs.
