Putin has increased state support of socially oriented NGOs from 4.3 to 7 billion roubles in 2017.

MOSCOW, July 27. /TASS/. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin has almost doubled state support to nonprofit non-governmental organizations implementing socially significant projects and projects in the sphere of protection of the rights and freedoms of the individual, in 2017.

The presidential decree published on the official portal of legal information says about modification to the previous order from April this year. Putin ordered to replace the words “at the rate of 4 814,9 316 thousand roubles” words “at the rate of 7 016 814,9 thousand rubles.”

The President also instructed the “Office of the President of the Russian Federation in a month to ensure the relevant amendments in the agreement on granting subsidies to Fund operating presidential grants for the development of civil society.”
