Chaika said the decline in corruption level in Russia

Russian Prosecutor General Yuri Chaika said that the number of registered in Russia of the crimes of corruption for the six months decreased by almost 14%, RIA “Novosti”.

“In the first half of 2017 identified 18,4 thousand corruption crimes”, – he said.

According to Chaika, this is 13.9% less than in January-June of 2016.

“Objective reasons for these numbers there, and in some regions catch only small bribes. You need to redirect the activity to identify the more significant violations,” – said the Prosecutor General.

Earlier the President of Russia Vladimir Putin stated that it is impossible to speculate on the problem of corruption in the country.
