The administration officially confirmed investigations against the Deputy Governor of the region Evgeny Vishnyakov. On Thursday, July 27, reports TASS.
In a press-service of the regional administration refused to name the reasons for the investigation. “According to our information, Evgeny Vishnyakov really was summoned to the law enforcement bodies the day before. We confirm that yesterday, July 26, were searched in the office of the Vice-Governor Evgeny Vishnyakov, and previously supervised the Department of energy. Frunzenskiy district court of Vladivostok on Thursday is considering the issue on remand. Before the court decision, we consider it premature to make any conclusions”, — told in the administration.
Vishnyakov is on vacation, he wrote a letter of resignation. His duties shall be temporarily performed by the Vice-Governor Edward Portnow.
Wednesday, July 26, media reported about the seizure of documents at the official place of work. Source RIA Novosti was told that Vishnyakova is suspected of excess of authority “on energy issues, and specifically with the Ussuri”. The spokesman refused to clarify the fact of detention of the Lieutenant Governor.
Vishnyakov was appointed Deputy Governor in February 2015. Previously, he has worked as Vice-Governor of Zabaykalsky Krai and the Deputy Prime Minister from the same region, has long worked in the “Rosatom”.
In Primorsky Krai Vishnyakov supervises housing and communal services, fuel and energy complex, tariff, public housing oversight, natural resource management, environmental protection and forestry.
