Venezuela has banned street protests
MEXICO city, 27 Jun — RIA Novosti. The Venezuelan government has imposed a ban on street protests Friday before the elections to the national constituent Assembly on 30 July, said the Minister of internal Affairs Nestor Reverol.

“Those who will organize, support or incite the violation of the organization and operation of the electoral process and social life of the country, will be punished with jail term from five to 10 years, as it establishes the article 56 of the law on national security”, — quotes the channel NTN24 statement of Riverola. The ban is valid from 28 July to 1 August.
In Venezuela since early April, are mass protests after the Supreme court’s decision to severely limit the power of opposition in the National Assembly. The decision was reversed, but opposition supporters took to the streets demanding the resignation of the members of the court and the holding of early elections and against the constituent Assembly, considering it an attempt to change the Constitution. The death toll, according to the latest estimates, more than 100 people.
