The new US sanctions are a step towards the destruction of prospects for the normalization of relations with Russia. This was stated by Deputy Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Ryabkov.
“The authors and sponsors of this bill make a very serious step towards the destruction of prospects for the normalization of relations with Russia,” TASS quoted Ryabkov, commented on the vote in the House of representatives on the bill to toughen sanctions against Russia, Iran and North Korea.
The diplomat noted that Moscow perceives Washington as a source of danger and act on that understanding.
In the Federation Council, in turn, urged to prepare painful for the US response to the new sanctions.
Earlier, the house of representatives passed a bill on new sanctions against Russia.
