Kadyrov has declared readiness to resign and to go to Jerusalem
MOSCOW, 27 Jun — RIA Novosti. The head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov said on Friday that he was ready to lay down the rest of my life to protect the al-Aqsa mosque on the Temple mount of Jerusalem.
“I am ready to resign and serve in the structures that ensure the safety of this Holy Moslem place. To be a volunteer and the rest of my life to protect the al-Aqsa mosque”, he wrote in a Telegram.
About this Kadyrov said, commenting on the highly publicized in the media the situation around this ancient mosque, an area which Israel has established special security measures, triggering a two-week protests the Arab-Muslim community. Earlier today, Israel police announced the dismantling of metal detectors and surveillance cameras.
“I am against the use of terrorism as an instrument of political struggle, directed against the Muslim population”, — said Kadyrov in this regard.
To avoid conflicts in the future Kadyrov has offered to transfer all rights in the Islamic Holy Shrine of Jordan.
