The European court of human rights (ECHR) decided to pay six thousand euros in compensation to the Boy Eskerhanova, convicted for the murder of politician Boris Nemtsov. Relevant information contains on the website of the court.

In January 2017, it became known that the European court of human rights has offered Russia in the pretrial order to pay Gubashev 13 thousand euros.
13 July of current year the Moscow district military court sentenced Zaur Dadaev — the executor of the murder — sentence of 20 years imprisonment. Partners were given terms ranging from 11 to 19 years. The jury found all five defendants guilty in the murder for hire.
