Mizulina proposed to hold an all-Russian parent meeting
The Senator also proposed to hold discussion of the draft plan for the Decade of childhood with the Executive authorities, local governments and NGOs.
TASS, July 26. Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on constitutional legislation and state construction Elena Mizulina proposed to hold the all-Russian parent meeting in the framework of the Decade of childhood.
“I believe that we need to hold all-Russian parent meeting,” — said Mizulina in the Public chamber in the course of the hearing to discuss the draft plan for the Decade of childhood. She also considers it necessary to discuss a draft plan for the Decade of childhood with the Executive authorities, local governments and NGOs.
Moreover, Mizulina proposed to create a coordination Council, which will conduct analysis of the proposals.
The President of Russia Vladimir Putin on may 29 signed a decree declaring 2018-2027 years in Russia the Decade of childhood. It is noted that this decision was made “to improve the state policy in the sphere of childhood protection, taking into account the results achieved during the implementation of the National strategy of actions in interests of children for 2012-2017”. The Russian government instructed within three months to approve the plan of main activities undertaken within the Decade for childhood, will last until 2020.
