American ship fired warning shots at Iranian vessel
Moscow. July 25. INTERFAX.RU — a U.S. Navy Ship fired warning shots at Iranian patrol ship in the Persian Gulf, reports CNN, citing military sources.
It is noted that the ship, which allegedly belongs to the Islamic revolutionary guard Corps, approached the American ship closer than 150 yards (about 127 meters), and that was the cause of the incident.
The crew of the Iranian vessel did not respond to any warnings. After the fire was discovered, the vessel was removed from the American ship, but a few hours not left the area. In the vicinity of a US Navy ship there were several American ships patrolling the water.
