In the state Duma a bill on non-material bribe
The author of the document proposes “to criminalize bribery” and increase the responsibility for this crime.
MOSCOW, July 24. /TASS/. The bill on toughening responsibility for bribery to four years of imprisonment, introducing also the concept of non-material bribes made to the state Duma. This was announced on Monday, the author of the bill, Deputy Chairman of the Duma Committee for security and combating corruption Anatoly Election (United Russia).
“We have only today, this bill was introduced. Only in the autumn, I think, will proceed to the consideration, by that time we hope to pass public hearings to discuss the bill in the Public chamber, the chamber of Commerce”, — he told reporters. Last week the state Duma has spent the last meeting of the spring session and went on vacation until September.
