The leaders of France, Russia, Germany and Ukraine will hold a telephone conversation in the debate on the situation in the Donbass, reports Reuters with reference to the Elysee Palace.
In the statement of administration of the French President said that Emmanuel macron will call the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
It is noted that a telephone conversation in the Normandy format is planned for 11: 00 a.m. (12.00 GMT).
21 July, Poroshenko announced telephone negotiations “channel four” on July 24.
20 July, press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that the exact date of the telephone conversation has not been determined.
Telephone conversations – as part of its efforts to resolve the conflict in Eastern Ukraine. The cease-fire was signed in February 2015 in Minsk, but it did not help to stop the violence in the region.
