YOSHKAR-OLA, July 20 — RIA Novosti. It is necessary to preserve inter-ethnic harmony in Russian society, which has been achieved, said the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
“Repeatedly said that everything connected with the national identity, with traditions — sphere is thin and very sensitive, and act there should be very delicately and wisely. Overall, in recent years this field has gained considerable and, most importantly, good efficient experience. Suffice it to mention the growing number of citizens who believe relations between people of different nationalities are friendly, today there are almost 80%… Our task is to preserve harmony, which is achieved in society,” Putin said at a meeting of the Council under the RF President on interethnic relations.
