The creators of “Game of thrones” will take the series about the United States without the abolition of slavery
The authors of the fantasy series “Game of thrones” David Benioff and Daniel Weiss have shared plans to create a new TV show dedicated to the alternative history of the United States. Sprodyusiruet project HBO, writes The Guardian.
In the story, during the Civil war of 1861-1865 Confederate southern States managed to secede from the North and to defend its territory, preserving the slave system.

“The story will unfold around a large number of characters living on both sides of the demilitarized zone of the Mason-Dixon (in reality, the border, held in the 1760s by the English surveyors Charles Mason and Jeremiah Dixon to resolve a territorial dispute between British colonies of Pennsylvania and Maryland — approx. “Of the tape.ru”). “This series won’t dragons or white walkers,” warned Benioff and Weiss.
It is noted that the new project will begin after the last, eighth season of “Game of thrones”.
