Mikhail Men
The Minister of construction and housing Mikhail Men in an interview to “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” said that the volume of debts of citizens and organizations for the services of housing and communal services in Russia is 1.34 trillion rubles.
He noted that the debts of the population make up almost half of the total 645 billion rubles. Men indicated that the Russians “are mostly very disciplined” pay for utilities, but recently the amount of debt of the population increased from four to six percent.
Men also said that most debts are not paid intermediaries, for example, the control of the company. He stressed that the Ministry plans to reduce the size of debts for the supplied resources by eliminating intermediaries between the consumers of public services, and resource supplying companies.
On 14 June it was reported that the average debt burden unscrupulous user of public services is about 50 thousand rubles.
