Surkov about the Ukraine: Donbass is fighting for the integrity, not the office
MOSCOW, 19 Jul — RIA Novosti. The Russian presidential aide Vladislav Surkov held on Wednesday a meeting with experts, which assessed the initiative of the head of the DND Alexander Zakharchenko, calling the main in the idea of “an imaginary state Ruthenia” the fact that the Donbass war is not for separation from Ukraine and for its integrity. “All this “hype” about the imaginary state of little healthy. The main thing here is that the Donbass is not fighting for secession from Ukraine and for its integrity. For the whole of Ukraine, not part of it. That is, Ukraine is a civil war between people who have different views on the future of their country”, — quotes the words of Surkov, Chesnakov.
Earlier, the head of the DND Alexander Zakharchenko has proposed to create a transitional period of up to three years a new state of little Russia as the legal successor of the Ukraine. The leadership of the Luhansk people’s Republic reported that the project with the LC was not discussed. Speaker of the Parliament DND Denis Putilin said that the establishment of the Ukraine — just an idea that is controversial, including in the DNR. Press Secretary of the President Dmitry Peskov called the idea Zakharchenko personal initiative and reminded that Russia is committed to the Minsk agreements.
“Part of any war is the ideological war, which is opposed to the slogans and utopia,” — said Chesnakov, quoting a presidential aide.
