Medvedev awarded the honorary diploma of the former head of “Mail of Russia”
MOSCOW, July 19. /TASS/. Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev awarded the honorary diploma of the government of the Russian Federation eks-the head of “Mail of Russia” Dmitry Strashnov.
As stated in the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers, Strashnov awarded “for labor achievements and a great contribution to the development of postal services”.
3 July 2017 the head of the Ministry of communications and mass communications of the Russian Federation Nikolai Nikiforov has announced that it has appointed Olga Aspen acting General Director of FSUE “Mail of Russia”. The contract of the previous head of “Mail of Russia” Dmitry Strashnov expired on 1 July 2017.
Strashnov was appointed to this position by order of the Ministry of communications dated 19 April 2013, succeeding Alexander Kiselev, who headed the company during 2008-2013. Strashnov previously worked as General Director of the Russian mobile operator Tele2.
Just at the head of “Mail of Russia” Strashnov I stayed for 4 years, 2 months, 12 days.
According to media reports, in 2013, in front of Strasnoy’s goal was to modernize the infrastructure of “Mail of Russia”, as well as preparation for the impending privatization of the company.
