British MP from the labour party urged to smoke marijuana in Parliament

MP from the labour party Paul Flynn has urged the British people to smoke marijuana in the building of the British Parliament to “challenge the collective thinking of the government.” About it reports TV channel Sky News.

“I would urge people to violate the law (…), come here and (…) to see what will happen,” — said the politician on the debate of the house of Commons on the anti-drug policy, noting that British laws “are not obvious and are rich in prejudice.”

He explained that people who challenge the government is likely to be arrested.

Flynn also admitted that he once committed a “terrible crime” together with activist Elizabeth Bryce, who suffered from multiple sclerosis and participated in the campaigns to legalize marijuana for recreational purposes. The Deputy explained that he gave the woman a Cup of hot water she added the tea with cannabis. Bryce drank it on the terrace of the British Parliament.

In the UK Smoking is prohibited, and possession of marijuana. Many activists are calling for the government to legalize cannabis for recreational purposes. It is believed that marijuana can significantly alleviate the symptoms of multiple sclerosis.
