Alexander Searchenginegenie: the DNI confused the issue regarding the conformity of the project of the Ukraine Minsk agreements
The self-proclaimed head of the Donetsk national Republic (DND) Alexander Zakharchenko said that in order to break the deadlock in Ukraine, you need to create for a period of three years, a new state — Ruthenia. On 18 July, informs “Interfax”.
“We, the representatives of the regions of the former Ukraine, except Crimea, declare the establishment of the new state, which is the successor to the Ukraine. We agree that the new state will be called Ruthenia, as the name itself Ukraine has discredited itself,” he said.
According to Zakharchenko, the capital of the new state will be the city of Donetsk, and Kiev is the status of historical and cultural center. The national flag will be recognized as the flag of Bohdan Khmelnytsky. “We believe that the people’s Republic of Donetsk, along with Luhansk people’s Republic, remains the only territory of Ukraine, excluding the Crimea, which preserved the legitimate authority”, he added.
The armed conflict in the Donbass began in the spring of 2014 after the attempt of the new Kiev authorities the power to suppress speech in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. The parties have repeatedly declared about the truce, however, to completely stop the fighting until now has failed.
