The film “Crimea” asked Kiev on rolling identity

MOSCOW, 18 Jul — RIA Novosti. President of the media holding “Red star”, the film “Crimea” Alexey Pimanov in an open letter addressed to the Ukrainian authorities with a request to issue the film a certificate for distribution on the territory of Ukraine.

On Monday it became known that the Ukrainian Embassy in Minsk has sent the Belarusian foreign Ministry the note of screening in urban theaters trailer of Russian film “Crimea”.

Last week in Minsk, the cinemas started to show the trailer of the drama “Crimea”, based on real events in 2014. The picture was shot with the support of government “cinema Fund”. In the Russian hire movie will be released in late September, on the screens in Belarus is expected to appear in the fall.

In an open letter Pimanov, in particular, explains who and what the subject of the film and why it was chosen as the slogan “Love is stronger than hate”.

“I really want to see this movie in Ukraine!.. I wish that this film, above all, ordinary Ukrainians. And maybe it will become one of the shocks to the enlightenment, to the end of the nightmare going on in Eastern Ukraine for three years. Coming, finally, understanding that this war cannot have a winner!” — written by the Director.

“P. S. Please consider this letter a formal request to the government of Ukraine with a request to extradite the film “Crimea” rental license on the territory of Ukraine”, — he added.
