Durov announced the creation of the group moderators Telegram with knowledge of Indonesian language
The founder of Telegram, Pavel Durov said that the messenger team will be enriched by the group of moderators with knowledge of the Indonesian language in order to actively cooperate with the authorities of the country in terms of the blocking of terrorist propaganda.
This he said in his Telegram channel.
Durov said that the Ministry of communications and information technologies of Indonesia has sent the team a Telegram with a list of channels with terrorist propaganda, however, the specialists failed to promptly block them.
In this regard, said the founder of the messenger, the user will perform three steps in order to actively work with country authorities. So, according to him, the Telegram will establish a direct communication channel with the Indonesian Ministry.
“We are creating a special team of moderators with knowledge of Indonesian language and culture, to be able to answer queries about the content posed by terrorism, more quickly and accurately,” — said Durov.
The founder of the Telegram noted that already sent their proposals to the Indonesian Ministry.
