The Cabinet of the Russian Federation has expanded the list of drugs 12 new drugs
MOSCOW, July 15. /TASS/. The Russian government has expanded the list of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors banned or subject to control in Russia. The corresponding decree signed by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev published on Saturday on the official website of the government.
The list of prohibited substances added to the four new titles, in particular, benzylidene, methoxylamine and furylmethanol. In the list of substances the circulation of which on the territory of the Russian Federation will be limited, includes eight compounds, namely desfloration, iclazepam, clonazelam, meclonazepam, nioxin, pyrazoles, ferrometal and etizolam. All 12 of the listed substances are considered psychoactive in Finland, Estonia, Sweden, Belarus, the source indicated.
Amendments to the definitions of the Criminal code on large and extra large size cultivation of plants containing narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances or their precursors. Under the new restrictions were “soporific poppy” (Papaver somniferum) and “hostiles Mimoza” (Mimosa tenuiflora). Activity on distribution of the latter, as noted in the Cabinet, is fixed in the latest time in the Russian segment of the Internet as dried plant contains psychoactive substance dimethyltryptamine.
“The decisions will contribute to the strengthening of state control over the circulation of new types of drugs,” — said in the government.
