The victim of hackers who leaked to the web archive of correspondence that accompanied the intelligence and analytical work at the state Department in Russia, became a specialist Agency, Robert Otto. It is found out the newspaper “Kommersant”.
The correspondent of the edition managed to find a link to a zip archive and explore the correspondence presented there. As it turned out, Otto is the head of the Russian domestic policy in the Department for Russia and Eurasia Bureau of intelligence and research of the state Department.
The network got a letter from the personal box of the specialist on the gmail server, most of them devoted to the work.
A significant part of the correspondence, as noted, are references to articles of the Russian media, which Otto shares with his colleagues and friends, or those who send him.
Otto and his partners in correspondence, are interested in such aspects of Russian domestic politics, such as the likelihood of early elections in Russia, the prospects of the protests of truckers, privatization of Bashneft and the potential of the United people’s front.
Otto also interested in what famous political and public figures write in social networks. A number of letters dedicated to the reshuffle in the Russian government structures and how influential is a particular statesmen.
Earlier it was reported that e-mail account of an employee of the US was compromised is unknown, then a set of letters on the boxes of an unknown number of recipients. In the accompanying text, written in the name of hacker “johnny Walker”, explains that the archive includes correspondence between officials, CIA agents and other intelligence agencies, the mainstream media, non-governmental organizations and international funds. Correspondence covers the period of at least two years.
