MOSCOW, July 14. /TASS/. The state Duma on Friday passed a law that prohibits 10 years working in the public and municipal service the citizens who have not passed military service on an appeal without legal grounds.
In 2014, Russia adopted a law on the indefinite ban evaders to work for the government, but later the constitutional court found this provision is not relevant to the fundamental law of the country.
“We did what we were told to change the constitutional court”, — explained TASS the first Deputy Chairman of the Duma Committee on defense Andrei Krasov. “Earlier we passed a law stating that if a Russian citizen not passed military service on an appeal without legal grounds, he prematurely could not hold the office of a civil servant or municipal employee”, — he reminded, noting that the court “rightly found that the need to replace the norm of the untimely ban on a certain time.”
The result was decided on a 10-year ban.
