Died in Moscow the singer Tamara Miansarova, known as the singer of popular hits “Black cat” and “Let there always be sunshine”.

The death of the singer in interview to TV channel REN TV was confirmed by a friend of her family Ivan Tsybin. According to him, Miansarova died on 88-m to year of life after long illness. She died in a Minsk hospital.

Tamara Miansarova was born in March 1931 in the city Zinoviev Ukrainian SSR (later Kirovograd and now Kropiwnicki). After graduating from the Moscow Conservatory, worked on the stage. In 1963 she became a laureate of the festival in Sopot, Poland with the song “Let there always be sunshine”. A year later, she sang one of the most popular Soviet hits — the song “Black cat” with lyrics by Mikhail Tanich.
Since the 1980-ies, Miansarova taught vocal students of GITIS.
