According to the newspaper, this action “has made it famous around the world.” Also given are some statements Basayev a terrorist nature.
“It is regrettable article in the Turkish newspaper Yeni Akit, praising the terrorist responsible for the deaths of many people. Saddened by another anti-Russian publication, which is clearly not consistent with the high level of Russian-Turkish relations. Well-known anti-Russian sentiment of the editorial policy of the newspaper Yeni Akit, which is, incidentally, not the most popular media in Turkey. Unacceptable praising any manifestation of terrorism and members of terrorist organizations,” said Leshukov.
