Refugees in Germany protested the antics of the anti-globalization movement in Hamburg

Living in Germany the refugees were shocked and outraged by the riots, who staged the anti-globalization during the summit of “Big twenty” in Hamburg. About it reports The Independent.

“If people did this in Egypt they would be shot,” — said in an interview with Ibrahim Ali, a 29-year-old Egyptian who came to Hamburg in 2011. “The state provides everything: housing, unemployment and education. But these people are angry. I don’t understand,” he added.

“They’re crazy, I can’t believe my eyes. They have such a beautiful country and they destroy it”, — shared his impressions of the 32-year-old Syrian Mohammad Halabi.

On 9 July the head of the police operations to ensure security in the city during the summit Hartmut Dodge reported that during the riots, wounds and injuries 476 police officers. The previous day, Deutsche Welle published the data on detention of protesters 102.

The two-day summit of “Big twenty” was held in Hamburg on 7-8 July. Each day of the event was accompanied by violent protests, which were attended by over 10 thousand anti-globalization activists, including left-wing extremists. They threw guards bottles, stones, burning cars and tires. Security during the G20 provided about 20 thousand law enforcement officers.
