According to him, further tightening of legislation in this area today and so corresponds to the experience of many civilized countries, will not be productive. “Speaking of healthy lifestyle, the potential of its development must be sought not in additional restrictions and funding mass, children’s sports, increasing the number of children and teenage sports clubs,” he said.

Levin drew attention to the fact that currently, due to the effective policy of the state on formation of healthy lifestyle, promotion of values of health in Russia began to drink less and smoke. According to Rospotrebnadzor, the prevalence of tobacco use among the adult population fell by 39% in comparison with 2009 the average consumption of alcohol by the population of Russia has decreased by half, he added.
