In connection with the rapid spread of fire state Governor Jerry brown declared a state of emergency in the County of Butte. In the County of Santa Barbara in safe areas were taken 3.5 thousand people, including children vacationing in the camps.
Fire chief of the district Eric Peterson said that the evacuation was associated with a high risk: the fire raged in close proximity to the road, it fell down burning trees.
