Macron spoke about a new phase in relations with Russia

The President of France Emmanuel macron said it was time to move on to a new phase in relations between Paris and Moscow. On Saturday, July 8, according to Reuters.

“We can now move to a new phase, so we can both see that each of us has words with deeds,” — said the French President ahead of the meeting with Putin at the G20 summit, which is now in Hamburg.

Earlier, Putin, commenting on the results of negotiations with Macron, noted the intensification of economic ties and increase of trade turnover between Russia and France.

The talks between Putin and Macron in Paris took place on may 29 and lasted almost three hours. According to their results, the Russian leader said that sanctions against Russia will not help to solve the internal conflict in Ukraine, and urged the French media to fight for the abolition of all restrictions in the global economy.

In addition, Putin invited his French colleague to visit the Russian capital with a long visit.
