China nullified military contacts with the DPRK
BEIJING, 9 Jul — RIA Novosti, Zhanna Manukyan. The people’s liberation AMI China currently does not support any contacts with the North Korean military, said in an interview with Channel News Asia Director of the center for international cooperation in security Affairs of the Ministry of defense of China, Zhou Bo.
“No, now we have zero contact with North Korean military. In the past we have had many contacts and exchanges. I think it is a reflection of the change in our relationship for reasons well known to all. China currently stands in solidarity with the international community to respect the resolutions of the UN Security Council,” said Zhou Bo, excerpts of the interview which is published on the website of the TV channel.
He also noted that North Korea wants direct talks with the US and China is helping this dialogue.
