The G20 will strengthen measures to eliminate “safe zones” for financing terrorism

The countries belonging to the G20, strengthen measures to eliminate “safe zones” for the financing of extremism. This is stated in the Hamburg Declaration States “the Big twenty” on counter-terrorism, said on Friday, July 7, RIA Novosti.

The document stressed that the existence anywhere in the world similar zones to Fund terrorism is unacceptable.

In addition, the G20 agreed to promote the exchange of data between intelligence services to counter extremism.

It is also noted that members of the “Big twenty” member States agree to coordinate actions in the field of aviation security. In particular, countries referred to the resolution of the UN Security Council 2309, which calls for closer cooperation to ensure aviation security and to prevent terrorist attacks.

The summit of “Big twenty” held in Hamburg from 7 to 8 July.
