Rock-festival “Invasion” next year will take in August
This decision was taken in connection with the holding of the world Cup in July 2018.

Rock-festival “Nashestvie”, which is traditionally held in early July in the village of Zavidovo in Konakovo district of Tver region, in 2018, will be moved in August in connection with the holding of the world championship on football, have informed on Saturday to journalists the General Director of “Media holding” (the organizer of the event — approx. TASS) Yevgeny Kiselyov.
“The safety of the festival provide the security services and state structures, they will all be busy at the world Cup in July, so next year we plan to hold a festival in early August,” said Kiselyov, answering the question TASS correspondent.
She added that special football events in connection with the holding of the world championship for festival visitors is not planned yet. “Invasion” will be after the world Cup, I don’t think people who see great football, they want to continue here. Any special football events, we have not yet planned, but we’ll see about that — said the CEO.
Earlier it was reported that Russia’s largest rock festival “Invasion” was launched on 7 July in the Tver region. The event has been held annually since 1999 under the open sky, and the audience live in tent camps.
