MOSCOW, 6 Jul — RIA Novosti. Moscow is actively involved in the fate of the detainee in Ukraine of Russian citizen Viktor Ageev, said the official representative of the Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova.
“The Russian Embassy in Kiev conducts active work aimed at protecting the rights and legitimate interests of Russian citizens”, — she told reporters.
Zakharova also said that the consular Department of the Embassy “have been instructed to hold this question on constant control.”
Earlier official representative of the LPR militia Andrey Marochko said that captured Ukrainian saboteurs Victor Ageev has voluntarily joined the people’s militia self-proclaimed Luhansk people’s Republic.
