More than five thousand playgrounds checked for safety in the Moscow region since the beginning of the year, according to the website of the regional government on Wednesday, 5 July.
“First of all checked those playgrounds that draw complaints from residents on the portal of “Dobrodel”, the Supervisory bodies and municipal authorities”, — said the Deputy head of the regional government Dmitry Pestov.
In total, the audits revealed violations of 1097. The most common are improper as game designs, the lack of shields with the rules of their operation. Responsible for the maintenance of playgrounds of the organization brought to administrative responsibility.
Today on the territory of Moscow region there are about 15.5 thousand playgrounds. Until the end of the year they will all be checked for compliance with safety standards and improvement, said Pestov.
On 3 July it was reported that in Moscow will set 190 new children’s playgrounds in the Governor’s programs. According to the Minister of housing and communal services of Moscow region Eugene Khromushina, the government agreed to their place of installation including parents.
