Lavrov met with the foreign Minister of Hungary

The Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov on Monday met with Minister of foreign economic relations and foreign Affairs of Hungary Peter Siyarto, where the sides discussed relations between the two countries and the situation in the middle East and the settlement of the situation in Ukraine, said Tuesday the Russian foreign Ministry.

According to the report, the Russian foreign Ministry, the sides discussed practical issues of Russian-Hungarian relations in the context of the implementation of the agreements reached during the negotiations of the resident of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin with Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban on 2 February 2017 in Budapest.

“The Ministers exchanged views on current international issues, including the situation in the middle East and in Syria. The subject of the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict. Sergey Lavrov explained Russia’s implementation of Minsk agreements, said the lack of alternatives to their comprehensive implementation”, — stated in the message text.
