The head of the Committee on rules and organization of work of the lower house of Parliament said that such deputies do not get paid for that day the work salary.

MOSCOW, July 6. /TASS/. On average 25 members from nearly 450 active not present at the plenary meetings of the state Duma of the seventh convocation. This was reported on Thursday to journalists by the Chairman of the Committee of the lower house rules and organization of work of the state Duma Olga Savastyanova.

“The Committee on rules and organization of work of the state Duma on a weekly basis to consider these matters (visits by deputies plenary meetings — approx. TASS). The average is about 25 members, is 42 and 48, which are not present are not registered and, accordingly, have no one to vote,” she said.

Savastianova reminded that such deputies in accordance with the regulations of the state Duma do not get the day working wages. “We have a system of fines, the Deputy simply does not receive their wages for the day that he was not at the plenary meeting”, — said the politician.

While Savastianova noted that she headed the Committee, “of course, there are issues to visit (deputies plenary meetings — approx. TASS)”. “We would like to be more successful internal self-organization of the work themselves, factions,” she said.

At the end of last year the state Duma has amended its regulations, according to which deputies are absent at the plenary meeting without a valid reason (vacation, illness or business trip), are required to carry financial responsibility in the amount of one-sixth of the salary for each absence.
