The leader of China XI Jinping arrived in Moscow on a two-day state visit.
As informs RIA Novosti, the plane of the President of China landed at the Moscow airport Vnukovo-2. He was met by Deputy foreign Minister of Russia Igor Morgulov and ambassadors of both countries.
Earlier, the Kremlin announced that Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday evening, July 3, will hold in Moscow an informal meeting with XI Jinping.
It is expected that the leader of China and the Russian head of state will discuss prospects of cooperation and coordinate positions on major international issues.
