The President of the United States Donald trump and German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Monday, July 3, had a telephone conversation during which discussed the agenda of the summit of “Big twenty” in Hamburg. About it reports Reuters, citing the White house.
A White house spokesperson noted that the trump and Merkel held “extensive discussions”, affecting, in particular, the topic of trade and climate change.
Trump also discussed the agenda of the upcoming summit with Prime Minister of Italy Paolo Gentiloni.
June 30, telephone talks with Merkel met Russian President Vladimir Putin. They discussed the menu for the gala dinner at the summit of “Big twenty”. In addition to the G20, the heads of state discussed bilateral cooperation and issues related to the Paris agreement on climate change.
