German police dispersed opponents of the G20 with water cannons

German police used water cannons to disperse the night of the rally opponents of the G20 summit in Hamburg. About it reports Reuters.

According to German police in Hamburg are now tens of thousands of people who plan ahead and during the summit to organize mass protests. The evaluation of the guards, about eight thousand of them are aggressive and ready to violent actions. To counteract them, the city transferred 20 thousand police officers.

According to Der Spiegel, the security summit has attracted an army. German authorities fear that protesters might use drones to track the movement of guards and to prevent the meeting of world leaders. To avoid this, in the area of meeting the army deployed radar tracking small targets.

The summit of “Big twenty” will be held in Hamburg on 7-8 July.
